Donald A. Johnston

Donald A. Johnston was the first president of the very first Kiwanis Club, now known as "Detroit #1.".

Mr. Johnston and his board of directors managed by their bold action to avert a crisis in 1915 that threatened to destroy the fledgling Kiwanis organization before it got off the ground.
